Baghdad Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi said that the Cairo summit was a qualitative leap and recognition of Iraq's progress and that Iraq overcome its crises."

"Iraq has excellent relations with all neighboring countries without exception, and the next renaissance of Iraq must be based on stimulating the economic activity of the private sector," Abdul Mahdi said at his weekly press conference.

He added: "Iraq was not a party to a regional conflict and trying to find solutions to disputes and the end of conflicts," adding: "Egypt has provided great facilities for cooperation with the Iraqi private sector."

On the situation in Mosul, the Prime Minister said: "We will not allow any security breach or administrative vacuum in the city of Mosul."
