AbdulRahmanKanoo International School celebrates 9th graduation ceremony under the patronage of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman

Manama, Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the AbdulRahmanKanoo International School (ARKIS) celebrated its 9th graduation ceremony, at the ART Rotana hotel. Members of the Royal Family, senior officials, families of graduates and guests attended the graduation.

HH Shaikh Mohammed extended congratulations the 2018 graduates, and wished them success in their future educational endeavours.

HH Shaikh Mohammed expressed his delight that the graduates were able to celebrate this important occasion with their families, noting that these educational milestones are an important stepping stone towards developing the youth's skills base to help advance the Kingdom's development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.

HH Shaikh Mohammed further added that education represents an important component of the Kingdom's development programme, and continues to act as a foundation for growth, modernisation and development.

The graduation ceremony began with the Kingdom's national anthem, a reading from the holy Qur'aan, followed by a speech given by the Chairman of the ARKIS Board of Directors, Mr Saud bin AbdulazizKanoo.

In his speech, the Chairman expressed his gratitude to HH Shaikh Mohammed for his patronage of the ceremony, and thanked His Highness for his continuous support to the Kingdom's educational development.

The Chairman went on to summarise various educational programmes, humanitarian and social initiatives carried out by ARKIS, emphasising that the Board of Directors has a clear set of goals designed to uphold the strongest standards, support students and increase collaboration with parents.

The school's principal, Haneen Hassan Zain, also gave a speech in which she thanked HH Shaikh Mohammed for attending the graduation ceremony and extended congratulations to the graduating students.

The graduation ceremony also included remarks by two students, Taleen Rami and Fatima Al Maraghi.
