Baghdad, MP for Al-Fatah Coalition Ahmed Al-Kenani stressed that his Coalition will submit their candidates for the cabinet in the event of political blocs committed to their ministerial entitlement.
Al- Kenani told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), that "in the event of necessity to form the government away from the election we will certainly be with this trend, either if the final decision of all blocks to give up positions freely for" Abdul Mahdi "the right to choose we, too, are with this trend. "
He added that if the political blocs are committed to their ministerial entitlement, we will present our candidates to the Prime Minister-designate, who is free to choose the most appropriate."
He pointed out that "the choice must be on the basis of professionalism and competence and leave enough space for Abdul Mahdi to take responsibility for this choice as well as the specifications that he has developed, including those with a certificate of integrity and efficiency, stressing that" Abdul Mahdi did not prove failure previously.
The President of the Republic Barham Saleh had called on political forces in his speech during the celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Supreme Islamic Council to cooperate with the Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi to form a strong government able to provide services to the Iraqi people.
