BAGHDAD, The government considers the United States to be a key partner for Iraq at various levels, Spokesman for Prime Minister Office Saad al-Hadithi said.
Al-Hadithi said in a statement to NINA that "Iraq considers the United States an essential partner for it," noting that "it sought through its statement on the demonstrations to deliver a message to the need to resolve the crises according to the correct frameworks."
He added that "Iraq has common interests with the United States at the political, military, economic and various fields."
He pointed out that "the government is keen to implement the demands of the demonstrators according to its specialties, especially in terms of services and provide the requirements for a decent life."
It is noteworthy that the United States issued a statement requesting the Iraqi government to respond to the demands of the demonstrators.
