Al-Kaabi from Geneva: The voice of the Arabs must be present strongly to address the issues of our peoples

Baghdad, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi stressed that the voice of the Arabs should be strongly present in the meetings of the International Parliament to address the issues of peoples.

"The Iraqi parliamentary delegation participating in the work of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva attended on Saturday a coordination meeting of the Arab Group to unite positions on the issues before the International Parliamentary Assembly," the statement said.

The head of the delegation Hassan al-Kaabi stressed in his speech to the meeting the need for the voice of the Arabs to be present strongly in the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, to contribute to addressing current issues and the development of effective solutions to them and influence the decisions that serve our peoples first and last."
