Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed received United Nations Resident Coordinator in Bahrain Khaled El Mekwad.
The meeting reviewed the ministry’s initiatives, entrepreneurship projects, youth training, and discussed contributions to benefit from UN expertise to improve the skills and innovations of Bahraini youth.
Al Moayyed affirmed that the ministry’s keenness for cooperation to implement initiatives for the youth sector in Bahrain in line with the directives of Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The UN coordinator praised the role of the youth in Bahrain and praised the achievements made by Bahraini youth in various fields.
