BAGHDAD, Secretary General of the National Dialogue Front, Saleh al-Mutlaq, discussed with Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi, the formation of the next government.
Al-Mutlaq received at his office today Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi, and during the meeting, they discussed the process of forming a new government that meets the aspirations of the Iraqi people in reform and the fight against corruption."
Al-Mutlaq pointed out that "the principles cannot be divided, either to be a patriot loyal to believe in the unity of the people and the homeland, or to be otherwise, and we are sure that the two will not meet in a single national government," stressing his confidence in the ability of Abdul Mahdi to choose the best and the most successful ones.
The two sides agreed, according to the statement, that the standards of national integrity and competence are able only to prevail over the competitors on the new Ministries."
For his part, Abdul Mahdi pledged that the next government to provide services and promote the Iraqi economy, which reflects on the lives of citizens and contribute to security stability.
