Manama: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has announced the launch of the registration phase for Her Highness Shaikha Moza bint Hamad Medical Grant for the undergraduate medicine program for the fourth consecutive year.
Registration for the grant will be on June 7 -20 via the Foundation’s website.
The grant, in collaboration with the Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain), is in line with the Foundation’s aim to provide more opportunities for high-achieving students in the Kingdom and to enable them to attain their academic and career goals.
Her Highness’s Scholarship will cover tuition fees, as well as other benefits under the Rayaat program for one student who will be selected according to a set of criteria.
Eligible applicants must be Bahraini nationals, fresh graduates, with a minimum average of 98% in secondary school in the stream of science.
The applicants must complete all procedures pertaining to the application process and obtaining admission at RCSI Bahrain for entry. They must also apply on both MKF’S and RCSI Bahrain’s websites.
The laureate will be selected after a thorough assessment of the online application, interview, and volunteer work, signifying positive engagement within the community and marked progress in knowledge and practical skills.
“We would like to thank RCSI Bahrain for its continued support over the past three years to provide this unique opportunity for students to enroll in a major that fulfills their academic ambitions,” Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said.
“The grant covers all tuition costs and enables students to enhance their skills further through Rayaat Scholarship Program’s workshops and activities. We are fully committed to equipping and empowering the next generation in order to raise the bar to new heights in the Kingdom.”
The “Rayaat Scholarship’ program was launched in 2011, in line with the Foundation’s vision to provide students with scholarship opportunities at accredited universities in the Kingdom, in addition to providing many benefits including financial incentives, workshops, and training opportunities in public and private sectors.
