An Economist: Borrowing is a step to plunder and weaken Iraq

Baghdad  Economist Abdul Hassan Al-Shammari described the borrowing law as a step to plunder and weaken Iraq.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that borrowing is bowing to the Iraqi people and the more aware class, especially since the money allocated for salaries is fully present and Iraq does not need to borrow.

Al-Shammari explained the reason for borrowing from officials’ expenses and sharing spoils and thefts, indicating that the rivalry among the ruling parties is the important reason.
