Aoun arrives in Tunisia, Essebsi, Aboul Gheit welcome him at the Airport

President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, arrived this afternoon at the Carthage International Airport in Tunisia, heading an official Lebanese delegation to partake in the works of the 30th Arab Summit.

President Aoun was welcomed upon arrival by Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, alongside senior Tunisian officials and Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Ministry Secretary-General Hani Shmeitli, Lebanese Ambassador to Tunisia Tony Franjieh, senior Embassy staff and Lebanon's delegate at the Arab League Ambassador Ali Halabi.

The President is due to hold a series of meetings this evening in the Tunisian capital, before delivering Lebanon's speech tomorrow at the Arab Summit.
