Berlin: Under the kind auspices of Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Armin Laschet, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Berlin Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, participated in the 13th Arab-German Health Forum, organized in Düsseldorf, by the Arab – German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
It was attended by the Minister of Economy and Energy of the State of Rhine-Westphalia and a number of Arab ambassadors in Berlin, in addition to Arab and German experts, officials and businessmen.
The forum was a great opportunity for exchange of experiences, formulate a post- Covid- 19 strategy in the Arab region, and to learn about future trends, developments and plans for partnership and cooperation on a number of topics, most notably the development of e-health, telemedicine, as well as the modernization of health care systems to be ready to overcome potential future crises.
The forum also reviewed the German health system and its success in stopping the spread of the Coronavirus by focusing on the strategy of achieving self-sufficiency in the production of medications and medical equipment.
On the sidelines of the forum, a meeting was organized between the Prime Minister of the State of Rhine-Westphalia, Armin Laschet, with the Arab ambassadors and businessmen, in the presence of President of the German Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peter Ramsauer and Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi and a number of state officials.
