Bahrain Council for Health Studies and Specialties, Saudi Commission for Health Specialties discuss cooperation

Riyadh, Mar. 8 (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals, member of the Bahrain Council for Health Studies and Specialties, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ansari, held a meeting here today with the Secretary-General of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, Prof. Aws bin Ibrahim Al-Shamsan.

The meeting is within the framework of the complementarity between the Bahrain Council for Health Studies and Specialties and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Dr. Al-Ansari conveyed greetings from the President of the Supreme Council for Health (SCH), Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Bahrain Council for Health Studies and Specialties, to the Secretary-General of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

He also affirmed the keenness of the SCH to establish the “Bahraini Board”, in coordination with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

He indicated that the visit is within the framework of the two sides’ keenness to promote the establishment of the Bahraini Board and the development of curricula and evaluation, given the great scientific and professional expertise and capabilities of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

They discussed ways to broaden cooperation in many areas, the most prominent of which is the establishment of a national programme for medical specialties affiliated to the Bahrain Council for Health Studies and Specialties.
