Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder, took part today in an event organized by the Arab League observing the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People.
The day was designated by the United Nations in 1977 to remind people of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people in accordance with international legitimacy.
The event was held in the presence of ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries and representatives of international organizations that are based in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The ceremony included a speech delivered by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and a message from the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
