Bahrain Polytechnic lauds Dr. Haji’s researches in promoting AI

Manama: Bahrain Polytechnic’s Deputy CEO of Resources and Information Affairs Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received President of Artificial Intelligence Society Bahrain and ICT researcher Dr. Jassim Haji.


Dr. Haji presented to him a copy of his new book “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation, necessity post COVID-19”


Shaikh Ali extended his appreciation to Dr. Haji’s efforts in publishing this book, which is the fruit of the researcher’s long experience in the technological field, especially since Bahrain Polytechnic is considered a forerunner in adopting the curricula and disciplines of future sciences and artificial intelligence (AI) and had established, with the directives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), a specialized academy in AI which is considered the first in the region.


Dr. Haji hailed the deputy CEO’s role in training a professional generation in AI in the region which promotes Bahrain’s role in this field.

He pointed out that AI is a window for exploring the future and acknowledging the needs of the labor market.
