Chief of Public Security inspects F1 preparations

Chief Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, hailed today the directives and follow-up of  Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to carry out all security arrangements for the Bahrain Grand Prix (Formula 1).

 

He highlighted that while touring the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) to inspect security preparedness for the race’s success.

He asserted that the main and emergency plans were well-studied and tested through various security scenarios carried out by joint security authorities that reflected the readiness of the participating forces and capability to carry out plans to tackle any emergency professionally. Furthermore, he highlighted that the security forces are deployed around the BIC and main roads leading to the race venue to ensure smooth traffic flow.

 

He called upon citizens, residents and visitors to enjoy the international event and the festivity atmosphere, cooperate with security personnel and follow instructions for their safety.
