Children Face Immediate Danger in Tripoli, Libya, UNICEF reports

Tripoli, Libya, The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) affirmed that half a million children are in immediate danger in Libya's capital, Tripoli, while more than 2.6 million children across the country are in need.

In a press statement, UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa Geert Cappelaere said that We are shocked and saddened by reports that an entire family, including two children, were killed today in Tripoli when a missile hit their home, adding that the UNICEF calls on all parties of the conflict in Libya to protect children at all times.
