Consumer prices rise 1.36% in October

The Central Administration of Statistics at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers announced that the consumer price index in Lebanon for the month of October 2019 has increased by 1.36% in comparison to the month of September 2019. These increasing figures have been recorded in different Lebanese governorates as follows:

An increase in Beirut Governorate by 0.87%

An increase in Mount Lebanon Governorate by 1.18%

An increase in the Northern Governorate by 1.72%

An increase in the Bekaa Governorate by 2.54%

An increase in the South Governorate by 1.25%

An increase in Nabatieh Governorate by 1.09%

It is to note that the consumer price index in Lebanon for the month of October 2019 has increased by 1.33% in comparison to the month of October 2018.
