National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s President Ali Ahmed Al Derazi received Lawmaker Ahmed Zayed.
The meeting reviewed human rights issues and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation with the Council of Representatives.
Al Derazi thanked the Council for their cooperation in modernizing the laws and legislation in line with sustainable development and international standards.
Zayed valued the important role played of the institution in promoting and protecting human rights and stressed the Council’s contribution to Bahrain’s progress on human rights.
