Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa held a meeting with Saudi Company for Exchanging Digital Information (Tabadul) Chief Executive Officer Majid bin Faleh Al Otaibi and the accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed a proposal plan to set up a link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia for the smooth flow of trucks through the King Fahd Causeway.
Based on the proposal plan, a number of decisions have been taken to fast-track the implement the multi-phased scheme between both countries.
The step is part of the Customs Affairs’ plan to support trade activities and facilitate the movement of goods through Bahrain’s martime, sea and air border exits.
