Washington, Advisor - Royal Court, General Supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah met here yesterday, with a number of international media representatives in the US capital, Washington.
During the panel discussion, Dr. Al-Rabeeah briefed his audience on the humanitarian efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in the various countries of the world, pointing out that the Kingdom has since 1996 until now provided more than $ 92.4 billion to the world in the form of relief assistance.
KSrelief has implemented more than 1057 projects in more than 44 countries in cooperation with 168 partners with amounts exceeding $ 3.5 billion, he said.
With regard to the Kingdom's humanitarian efforts in Yemen, Dr. Al-Rabeeah pointed out that the total assistance provided by the Kingdom to Yemen since May 13, 2015 to date exceeded 14.5 billion US dollars, while KSrelief's projects amounted to 368 projects valued at $2.2 billion covering all parts of Yemen without exception.
