Baghdad, The consultant in industrial development and investment, Amer Al-Jawahiri, said that the large expenses of licensing rounds burden the budget and must be reconsidered.”
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that reconsidering various expenses, especially the administrative expenses for licensing rounds, is an important part of reducing the budget and transferring it to other sections.”
Al-Jawahiri added that among the proposals that we present to Parliament for adoption is the necessity for the state’s creditor companies to pay the money they owe and to reconsider the administrative expenses of the licensing rounds, which provide large sums.”
He explained, “the money given to foreigners in companies is very large. The concerned parties in Parliament and the government must reconsider them and reduce them to certain percentages that are compatible with the current situation.”
The House of Representatives is scheduled to begin during the next few years its readings of the general budget for the current year, hoping to vote on it for a period not exceeding one month.
