Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouli, met Thursday with head of the Lebanese delegation to the meetings of the Arab League's Economic and Social Council, Minister of Trade and Economy Mansour Bteish, and State Minister for Information Technology Affairs, Adel Afiouni.
During the meeting, Bteish conveyed to his host the greetings of Prime Minister Saad Hariri, and maintained that Lebanon always looked forward to bolstering ties with Egypt.
"President Michel Aoun is highly keen on cooperation between the two countries," Bteish said.
For his part, Madbouli hailed the level of cooperation and coordination between Lebanon and Egypt, expressing his country's full support for Lebanon's stability and security, especially amid the current juncture in the region.
