Minister of Interior and Municipalities Rayya El Hassan, on Wednesday met in her office at the Ministry the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nazih Al-Naggari, who came on a farewell visit upon the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.
Discussions reportedly touched on the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Egypt at the various levels.
On emerging, Ambassador Al-Naggari expressed Egyptian government's permanent support to the Interior Ministry, underlining the importance of cooperation in addressing joint security challenges.
Minister El Hassan also met with Norway's Ambassador to Lebanon, Leni Stenseth, with talks reportedly touching on the projects and programs funded by Norway, especially in the domains of women empowerment, combating torture in prisons and aid to the displaced people, refugees and host communities.
This afternoon, El Hassan met with the Chairman of Finance and Budget Parliamentary Committee, MP Ibrahim Kanaan, with whom she discussed most recent developments on the local arena, in light of the current financial and economic situation.
Talks also covered developmental, administrative and services affairs pertaining to the region of El Metn.
