Manama, Mar.9 (BNA): Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, received a member of the Brazilian Senate and Brazilian Parliament Iraga Silvestre Filho, on the sidelines of her participation in the 146th 46th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
During the meeting, the minister praised the joint diplomatic and parliamentary relations between Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federative Republic of Brazil.
He affirmed the keenness of the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs to enhance cooperation in a way that pushes bilateral relations to further development and growth.
He pointed out that Bahrain’s hosting of the 146th IPU General Assembly during the period from 11 to 15 March constitutes a global tribute and appreciation for the exemplary parliamentary and democratic strides in Bahrain.
