The International Football Federation (FIFA) has renewed confidence in Bahraini Mohanned Hamad by appointing him as member of the Governance, Audit and Compliance Committee for a four-year term.
The committee was created in the General Assembly meeting of FIFA which convened last Friday (May 21).
Mohannad Hamad has served as member of the federation’s Governance Committee for the past four years before merging the committee with the Audit and Compliance one, starting from this year.
Over the past years, FIFA has appointed Mohannad Hamad as a member of the committees overseeing the elections of several continental federations. He has also assumed various duties in the meetings of the General Assemblies of FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), in which he holds the duties of Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee.
