Finance and National Economy Minister, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has underlined the importance of strengthening relations between Bahrain and Greece, especially in the economic and investments fields to achieve the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
The minister stressed the need to continue consolidating partnerships and opening up wider horizons of financial and economic cooperation with friendly countries, in a way that would achieve the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and in line with the efforts exerted by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister made the statements during his meeting here with the Greek Minister of Development and Investments, Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Tourism, Vasilis Kikilias, and a number of officials.
An official delegation from the kingdom, including Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Youth and Sports Affairs Minister, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyad, Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board (EDB), Khalid Humaidan, and the Undersecretary for Research and Projects at the Prime Minister's Office, Hamad Yacoub Al-Mahmeed, participated in the meeting.
Members of the official delegation affirmed the importance of visits aimed at enhancing financial cooperation and developing investments between Bahrain and Greece, as well as boosting bilateral relations at all levels.
