Foreign Minister holds virtual meeting with ambassadors

Manama: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today held a virtual meeting with the ambassadors of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad, which was also attended by the Under-Secretaries of the Ministry and members of the Foreign Ministry’s Council.

 

 

 

 

During the meeting, the Minister briefed the ambassadors on the visionary lofty goals of His Majesty the King by signing a declaration in support for peace between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel and the signing of the Declaration of Abraham Principles that took place in the White House on September 15, 2020.

 

 

He affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain has been able to consolidate its position regionally and internationally thanks to the sagacious vision and wise approach of His Majesty the King to enhance the chances of achieving security, stability and prosperity and spreading the culture of peace, tolerance and coexistence among various peoples in the world.

 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the sincere efforts made by their Excellencies the ambassadors and their continuous communication with competent officials in brotherly and friendly countries to inform them of the vision of His Majesty the King and the goals and contents of the declaration in support for peace, as well as the efforts they are making to strengthen joint cooperation between Kingdom of Bahrain and those countries in various fields.

 

The ambassadors praised the declaration in support for peace between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel, stressing that this important historic step will positively impact security, peace, stability and prosperity in the region, in a way that would meet the aspirations of its people, asking God Almighty to preserve the health and wellness of his Majesty and permanently bless the Kingdom of Bahrain with security, safety, stability and prosperity.
