BAGHDAD Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim participated in a four-way meeting between Jordan, Greece and Cyprus in Amman, in Jordan.
"The two sides discussed ways to develop economic relations between the four countries, achieve integration in various fields, and strengthen regional partnership in order to upgrade the economies of these countries," a Foreign Ministry statement said on Sunday.
The meeting aims at developing mechanisms that will enhance the level of trade exchange and facilitate the movement of goods and services and investment capital among countries. The meeting will work to achieve success in inter-interests, strengthening the factors of solidarity and laying a new foundation for economic integration.
On Saturday, Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim headed to the Jordanian capital Amman accompanied by the head of the Investment Authority.
