Foreign Ministry Undersecretary receives Malaysian ambassador, Indian ambassador-designate to Bahrain

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, today received in her office at the Ministry’s General Court Malaysia’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Agus Salim bin Yusof.

 

During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the ambassador, praising friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia and stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to further develop bilateral relations in a way that would benefit the two friendly countries and peoples.

 

For his part, the Malaysian ambassador expressed happiness about meeting the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and took pride in the progress of bilateral relations in various fields. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further growth and prosperity.

 

Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa also received the Ambassador- Designate of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava.

 

During the meeting, she affirmed deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries, which are based on solid foundations and mutual respect.

 

She praised the role of the Indian community in the development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the ambassador success in his duties.

 

For his part, the Indian ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed pride in meeting Dr. Shaikha Rana and stressed his country’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
