The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met at the Ministry today the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Taha Muhammad Abdul Qadir.
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm support to the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, praising the Arab and international efforts that contributed to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, paving the way to restore security and resolve the Palestinian issue in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions. He called on the international community to shoulder its humanitarian and moral responsibilities to protect and empower the Palestinian people and to intensify efforts aimed at promoting comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East region for the benefit of all people.
The Ambassador of the State of Palestine valued the active and continuous efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to support the Palestinian cause at all levels and in all international forums, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
