Marada Movement leader, Sleiman Frangieh, met at his Bnachii residence on Thursday, with Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nazih al-Najjari, over the latest local and regional developments.
Speaking to reporters following the meeting, the Ambassador said his country was concerned with the swift formation of the new Lebanese government.
"We are keen on not interfering with the details of the Lebanese affairs, but the President in Egypt is concerned with the swift government formation, because this preserves Lebanon's stability and contributes to the stability of the region in general," he said.
"We are perceiving some difficulties, but this is the Lebanese democracy," he added.
Frangieh later met with British Ambassador to Lebanon, Chris Rampling. Talks reportedly touched on the current situation in Lebanon and the broader region.
