Government Hospitals Chief receives batch of SMC doctors

Government Hospitals Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari received a new batch of Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) doctors, who will study for their fellowship certificate in different medical subspecialties.

The training programme has so far benefited 49 physicians in different medical specialties in one year.

The training of Government Hospitals doctors, is in line with the vision and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime, supporting plans aimed to promote investment in human resources and tap into young talents towards achieving sustainable development goals.

The new batch includes Dr. Boshra Shawki Hamza Al Alawi (Fellowship Program in Pediatric Nephrology in Ireland); Dr. Hussein Abdulla Al Shehabi (Pediatric Emergency Fellowship Program in Ireland); Dr. Hussein Al Aradi (Urology Fellowship Program in Canada); Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Alawi (Cardiology fellowship program in the UK); Dr. Sameh Awadh Abdul Adheem (Fellowship Program in Plastic Surgery in Ireland); Dr. Kharam Sarfraz Mukhtar (Fellowship Program in Emergency Medicine in Canada).
