Government hospitals, Edamah sign cooperation agreement

Government hospitals and Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah) signed a cooperation agreement with the support of Supreme Council of Health to upgrade the parking lots of Salmaniya Medical Complex.

The Governmental Hospitals CEO Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari expressed his happiness to develop the car parks at Salmaniya Medical Complex to achieve the highest levels of efficiency in managing the traffic within this area. He stressed that the project is part of targeted projects that aim to ease health services and to meet the needs of patients, citizens, and residents of Bahrain.

Edamah’s CEO Amin Ahmed Alarrayed stressed the importance of expanding cooperation between the public and private sectors, and pointed out that Edamah seeks to advance sustainable development through unlimited support for such development projects in Bahrain.

The agreement includes terms that aim to develop car parks using modern technologies, benefit from solar energy to contribute to reducing electricity consumption, provide distinctive parking, valet parking and car wash. Work will be on developing the internal streets at Salmaniya Medical Complex to ensure the flow of traffic.
