Manama, Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, has temporarily suspend flights to and from Kuwait International Airport effective from midnight of Friday 13 March until further notice.
Gulf Air is working closely with the concerned authorities in Bahrain to take all precautionary and preventive measures in order to ensure the safety and security of the citizens and residents of the Kingdom along with its passengers and crew.
The airlines highlighted that the remaining flights to and from Kuwait are limited to Kuwaiti citizens and their first-degree relatives as well as domestic workers accompanying them; non-Kuwaitis are prohibited from entering Kuwait through Kuwait International Airport on flights arriving on 12 and 13 March.
Non-Kuwaiti’s will be able to enter Bahrain through returning flights from Kuwait until March 13.
