BAGHDAD, The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim and designated Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi discussed the formation of the next government and its program, and the need for integration between the legislative and executive authorities.
"The two sides discussed, during the meeting, the file of forming the next government and the importance of providing services and achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people," said a statement from the media office of the head of the NWM.
Hakim confirmed "The significance of the government program that should based on priorities and is governed by a specific timeframe," called for "the importance of complementarily between the legislative and executive branches and the providing laws that affect the structure of the Iraqi state and the political system."
He stressed "the importance of the criterion of efficiency in the selection of ministers and taking into account the national balance and the empowerment of women and youth in the next government."
