Halbusi From Karbala: The Stage Requires Providing Services And A Decent Life For Iraqi People

Baghdad, Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halbusi stressed that "the stage requires the provision of services and a decent life for the Iraqi people."

"We have great challenges at this stage and we have a connection with local governments," he told a joint news conference with Karbala governor Aqeel al-Turaihi.

Halbusi said we will give priority to some important projects to address unemployment in the province of Karbala.

"There is an intention to increase the budget for the development of the provinces and this will be reflected positively on the province of Karbala, taking into account the specificity of the province," said Halbusi in a press conference from the holy province of Karbala with its governor Aqeel al-Turaihi.

Speaker of the House of Representatives said that the powers and decentralization will be transferred according to Law 21 for the rest of the provinces immediately.

He added, "The Ministry of Finance has expressed its readiness to do so,"

He added, "The parliament will open an investigation into several houses inside the Green Zone, which are granted to employees of less than a director general."
