Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri received today at the Center House a delegation from the International Support Group for Lebanon ISG, which includes representatives of France, China, Russia, Germany, Italy, Britain, the United States, the European Union, the League of Arab States and the Acting UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Pernille Dahler Kardel.
The meeting focused on the situation and the reforms that the Lebanese Government intends to carry out.
Hariri received earlier the US Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard.
He also met with the Director-General of Internal Security Forces Major General Imad Osman. The meeting focused on the security situation in the country and matters related to the Directorate.
Yesterday, Hariri received MP Bakr Hujairi, who said that the meeting focused on the amnesty law, closing the file of the so-called terrorism in Arsal and settling the situation of all prisoners.
Hariri also received the President of the Economic and Social Council, Charles Arbid, and the Head of Economic Organizations Mohammed Choucair.
After the meeting, Arbid said that he informed Prime Minister Hariri about the work of the Council and the studies it conducted, especially concerning housing policies and private schools.
