Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri received on Thursday at the "Center House" European Union Ambassador to Lebanon, Christina Lassen, and discussed with her the latest developments and the general situation.
Premier Hariri also met with MP Anwar al-Khalil who said after the meeting: "We discussed general issues, especially the formation of the government, and he assured us that things are under control.
We also talked about subsidizing the olive oil in Marjayoun-Hasbaya area, and Premier Hariri asserted his encouragement to the farmers to produce the olive oil. Discussions also tackled the issue of the dam proposed for the Litani project to the borders of Ibl al-Saki- Hasbaya especially that some residents refused to implement it because of its direct impact on the cutting of agricultural land in the area."
Later, Premier Hariri received Judge on the International Court of Justice Ambassador Nawaf Salam.
