HEC Joins Tawasul

The Higher Education Council (HEC) announced it joined the National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul), in cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA).

The HEC Secretary-General and Deputy Chairperson of the HEC Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa affirmed that the digital transformation of services is in line with the Government’s commitment to provide innovative communication channels between citizens and government entities, in support of development across all entities.

She indicated the importance of this move, as part of the Council’s overall digital transformation plan to enable public participation through the submission of suggestions to enhance higher education initiatives, while promptly addressing all incoming feedback, and swiftly implementing applicable solutions.

Dr. Shaikha Rana added that the public can use Tawasul to inquire and submit their suggestions or feedback related to different HEC services.

These include courses equivalency for private institutions students, unified student filing, granting higher education numbers, enrollment, withdrawal and dismissal certifications, visiting students certification, research facilitation, approval to register postgraduate proposals, and attestations of academic qualifications issued by private higher education institutions.

Citizens and residents can submit their enquiries, feedback, and suggestions by visiting bahrain.bh/tawasul or by downloading the Tawasul app via the eGovernment Apps Store, bahrain.bh/apps.
