Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa expressed deepest thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the issuance of royal decrees establishing and constituting the General Sports Authority.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa hailed the move which, he said, reflects HM the King’s keenness on supporting efforts to develop the sports sector and keeping abreast of global sports strides.
He took pride in the royal care and support, hailing Bahrain’s sports achievements in the prosperous era of HM the King, which enhanced the Kingdom’s standing on the continental and international levels.
He paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, hailing his strenuous efforts to develop the sports sector.
He praised the efforts exerted by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, SCYS Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to implement plans and strategies aimed to develop the sports sector.
