HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad al Khalifa has expressed gratitude to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the honorary President of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) for his strong support to the foundation and its activities.
HH Shaikh Nasser lauded HM the King’s directives, support and continuous interest in the humanitarian work carried out by the Foundation and his great care for orphans, widows and all needy groups in Bahrain to provide a decent life for all.
HH Shaikh Nasser commended HM the King’s humanitarian role and compassionate acts for brotherly and friendly countries and peoples.
They reflect the firm and clear positions of Bahrain, leadership, government and people towards brothers and friends in various countries, he added.
The latest such act was HM’s directives to provide urgent humanitarian relief aid to Afghanistan, to help the Afghan people and stand with them during their challenging conditions.
This is part of HM’s endeavors to consolidate international solidarity and based on the fraternal and human ties that bind Bahrain with the various peoples of the world, HH Shaikh Nasser said as he prayed for peace and prosperity in Afghanistan and the world.
HH Shaikh Nasser also praised the great support the RHF receives from the government led by Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Chairing the RHF meeting, HH Shaikh Nasser also thanked the Board of Trustees, the executive management and all RHF members for their dedicated efforts.
HH Shaikh Nasser was briefed on the RHF efforts for the digital transformation of its activities to facilitate procedures and accelerate the provision of services. The Foundation has achieved 70% of the digitalization project.
HH Shaikh Nasser stressed the steady development of the Foundation in line with HM the King’s visions and aspirations and the significance of taking important steps to implement HM’s directives to continue humanitarian work creatively and to provide distinguished and comprehensive care for orphans, widows and all deserving groups with ease.
The RHF will continue contributing to extending a helping hand and alleviating the suffering of peoples in brotherly and friendly countries and helping them, based on the humanitarian duty enjoined by Islam, he added.
HH Shaikh Nasser was briefed on the latest details in the development and investment projects carried out by the Foundation as part of its endeavors to secure resources that would strengthen its self-reliance for its budget through successful real estate investments, such as Al Khair Towers 1, 2, 3 and villa investment in Jasra.
HH pointed out to the importance of working to find new investment opportunities to finance the Foundation activities and programs in addition to the significance of supporting community partnership in the humanitarian work carried out by the RHF.
