The Higher Education Council (HEC) organized a visit to the Bahraini women commemorative monument “Athar”, which was inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) marking Bahraini Women Day.
HEC Secretary General, HEC Board of Trustees’ Deputy Chairperson, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, described the monument as a cultural symbol that reflects Bahraini women’s achievements, since the establishment of the council, in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
During the visit, the HEC Secretary-General shed light on the monument to the delegation, which included heads of boards of trustees’ members and presidents of heads of universities.
The visit was also by the Director of the SCW Gender Balance Rania Ahmed Al Jarf.
