Manama: Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Khalifa extended sincerest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Bahrain’s clinching fourth place internationally in the 8th edition of the Shaikha Hessa bint Mohammed Al Nahyan Award for Holy Quran competition. The achievement was made in the remote competition by female competitor Zain Khamis Abdullah Al Nuaimi in the memorization of the whole Holy Quran category.
The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister described the accomplishment as an extension of the series of achievements brought about by Bahrainis in the international Holy Quran competitions. He stressed that the achievements brought about by Bahraini youngsters are the dividend of continuous support and care of HM the King to all programmes aimed at serving the Holy Quran.
The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister took pride in the honourable places achieved by Bahraini competitors in the international Holy Quran competitions which reached more than 70 places and wins, in addition to participating in the arbitration of those competitions thanks to the experience acquired by the Islamic Affairs affiliates in this respect.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments participates annually in the Shaikha Hessa bint Mohammed Al Nahyan Award for Holy Quran and other competitions after preparing the competitors throughout the year according to a programme overseen by the Holy Quran Affairs Directorate.
