His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the President of the current session of the GCC Supreme Council, received at Safriyah Palace today GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al Hajraf on the occasion of his visit to the kingdom.
Dr. Al Hajraf presented HM the King with a report on the march of the GCC Secretariat General and its efforts to promote the GCC joint work.
HM the King welcomed the GCC Secretary General and reviewed with him GCC issues.
He praised the ongoing efforts of the GCC Secretary General and all affiliates of the Secretariat General to boost cooperation and integration between the member states.
He also commended the pioneering achievements of the Gulf Cooperation Council since its establishment and its active contribution to fostering regional and international security, stability and peace.
He affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to promote the organization and consolidate cooperation between the GCC countries to achieve the desired goals.
The GCC Secretary General expressed thanks and gratitude to HM the King for the gracious welcome and directives to promote the GCC march.
He praised Bahrain’s presidency of the current GCC session, lauding the achievements aimed at serving the interests of the GCC member states.
He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain more growth and prosperity.
