His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace today his Personal Representative, President of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HM the King commended the role and programmes of SCE to protect the environment and wildlife in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also praised the efforts of the government bodies and their cooperation with SCE, wishing them every success.
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of senior officials, HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented a briefing to HM the King on the kingdom’s plan to handle the rise in sea level in the region. He expressed utmost thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his directives and support to the efforts of SCE to achieve the desired goals.
