Manama Following the issuance of a Royal Order on renaming the “Royal Charity Organisation” as the “Royal Humanitarian Foundation” (RHF), HM the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, and RHF’s Board of Trustees Chairman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, extended deepest thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, RHF’s Honorary President, for his constant interest in supporting RHF’s charity and humanitarian work that benefits orphans, widows and needy people in Bahrain to ensure them the requirements of decent life.
HH Shaikh Nasser stressed that the new name is within HM the King’s vision on giving RHF a broader dimension in its work, in accordance with the principles of Islam, and in order to enable it to enhance its professionalism.
He pledged to spare no effort in order to develop the work of the RHF to achieve HM the King’s wise vision on delivering support and assistance to those who need it in Bahrain and abroad.
RHF’s Secretary-General, Dr, Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Ameen, lauded HM the King’s kind gesture, noting that HM King Hamad is the “King of Humanitarian Work”, through his fatherly care for orphans, widows and needy people in Bahrain and abroad.
He asserted that the strategic transformation RFH is going through is the fruitful outcome of the great interest of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, paying tribute to HH Shaikh Nasser for leading and overseeing RFH’s work.
