His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister, Head of the High Committee for the Integrity of Elections, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Ma’awda on the success of the parliamentary and municipal elections.
“This landmark national milestone embodies the national awareness of the importance of consolidating gains and building on the achievements made within the reform and modernsation process which was laid down by the National Action Charter”, he said.
The minister said that the high voter turnout which marked all electoral constituencies, under judicial oversight, reflected citizens’ awareness and resolve to play an active role in different national occasions.
He wished HM the King abundant health, well-being and long life and the Kingdom of Bahrain and its loyal people further development, progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
