HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister to patronize MEOS and GEO 2023

The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the Middle East Oil, Gas and Geosciences Conference and Exhibition (MEOS and GEO 2023) on February 19-21 .

The event will be held at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Challenges facing the oil and gas industry and the appropriate creative solutions that are in line with the requirements and programs of countries in the world in reducing carbon dioxide emissions will be discussed.

The global event will be organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the European Association of Geoscientists and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, in cooperation with the Ministry of Oil and Environment, and with the support of various Bahraini, Gulf and international companies.

Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina affirmed the continuous support for the oil and gas sector from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He pointed out that the MEOS and GEO exhibition and conference represent one of the most prominent events in the field of oil, gas, exploration and geology in the Middle East.

More than 400 specialized speakers will take part in the conference which will focus mainly on key issues, especially supply and demand in the oil market, neutral carbon emissions, challenges and opportunities, the fourth industrial revolution, the digital future and other related topics.

The conference will feature more than 10 main sessions, 500 artistic presentations, and an accompanying exhibition on an area of more than 36,000 square kilometers.

International companies from 49 countries from around the world will showcase the latest developments in modern technologies in the field of exploration and production.

These include the Oil and Gas Holding Company, Saudi Aramco, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Chevron, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Exxon Mobil, Nesser, ADNOC, Italian Eni and other companies from the GCC countries, Australia, Canada, China, France, India, Italy, the United States of America and other countries of the world.
