His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a telephone call from the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
His Royal Highness was congratulated by HH the Prime Minister of Kuwait, following the issuance of the Royal Decree by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to form the new government.
His Highness conveyed the greetings of the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Crown Prince of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as their wishes for continued progress and prosperity *in* Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude to His Highness for his well wishes, which reflect the depth and strength of the Bahrain-Kuwait relations.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the longstanding relations between the two countries and wished Kuwait continued progress and prosperity.
