iGA receives 7th PM Fellowship Program batch

The Chief Executive of the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) Mohammed Ali Al Qaed met with the fellows of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program.

Al Qaed highlighted the importance of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program in developing the skillset of Bahraini youth to further enhance creativity, competitiveness, and excellence across various government workstreams, in line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He highlighted His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s vision of investing in the Kingdom’s workforce to create a generation of leaders capable of furthering the Kingdom’s sustainable development and keeping pace with the rapid global technological advancements.

The CEO presented iGA’s digital transformation initiatives and policies, its work to bring about a knowledge-based economy, and the advantages of migrating government systems to the cloud.

The meeting covered the benefits of deploying advanced technologies, including time, effort, and cost savings, while maintaining efficiency and quality.

The iGA’s projects carried out in collaboration with other government entities, provide the public with digital services and improved customer experience.

Al Qaed answered inquiries by the fellows about the iGA’s scope of work and welcomed their suggestions for enhancing government performance, in line with the vision of Bahrain’s senior leadership.

The Fellowship is a competitive, challenging, yearlong training program that develops the skills of Bahrainis working in the public sector.
